. Calling out Miles for your perceived woulda, shoulda couldas appears, to me at least,to be crying like a little girl.[/quote]

you do know that we are competing for a NC this year with that being a very real possibility, right? and that every week we should be building towards that goal. The defense looked great as usual. The O-line is really coming around, they are starting to look awesome. The running game looked good also. But we have to keep moving forward and get the passing game going and it wasn't going to happen with Matt Flynn at half strength, especially when we have someone fully capable and just as dynamic sitting on the bench. Also have to get the punting game right, both ways, recieving and punting (punt ugly still looks like a disaster waiting to happen). Who knows when we'll get Doucet back. It was a good opportunity to get some of the other recievers like Byrd, Tolliver, and C Mitchell into the flow of the game with Perilloux both running and THROWING. Also why put the game at risk? There were a lot of couldas that we were very lucky on, not that we would have lost anyway probably, but this team is to talented to rely on luck. Of course I'm happy with a win, but it's about a lot more than that, it's about putting the building blocks in place for a championship season.

Supa, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Care to clarify?

It's like people used to say about Jim Brown (ya know, since I was around to see him play and all)...'Well, if you take away the 85 yard run, the 60 yard run, and the 40 yard run, he didn't do anything.'

StarsOfOrion, you mentioned the bad decisions by Spurrier to go for it on fourth a couple of time. Well, you're assuming that we wouldn't have taken advantage of those opportunities had he elected to punt then, aren't you? Terrible, terrible, logic.

It doesn't matter at this point what Spurrier decided to do.

LSU won the game fair and square, is undefeated, and is at this point in the drivers seat to Atlanta.

You guys don't need to worry about who ranks who, just keep winning and that will take care of itself.

The one exception is the barners, who in 2004 proved that even the Barner's best still isn't good enough.

LSU... a whole nother beast. MSU wasn't prepared and we got raped.

Bama better start playing with more intensity or there is no shot for them.

while I will agree with you RP should have played more, it is because of MF's injury probably nagging him a little late in the game. I do think RP would have done better in this game BUT not in EVERY game. Flynn has good stuff. They can both tote the mail when need be. If Matt's gimpy leg wasnt an issue we'd of had two more scores. no doubt.
