You over lokk one crucial element to Pollack's game that Spears can't touch: Hype. Pollack has it in spades...
The Pollack "MOTOR" is just further evidence that most sports writers and announcers have no energy and are simply lazy sponges. They hear one guy make a statement and they all get in line for their chance to use it. Just like the countless stories last year on Lavalais working in a prison and Mauck going to med school and being a minor league baseball player and being called Pops by his teammates. Just once when a big game comes on I would to see a piece by a writer or broadcaster on a player that we've never heard nor seen before, but it will not happen. Also, everyone knocks the writers or coaches if they vote a team up or down from the general rank of most other voters, like using their own brain and coming up with their own opinion instead of going with the flow is a bad thing. :cuss:
