I haven't been this giddy on special teams play since the David Browndyke era, Mr. Automatic himself. Hats off to special teams AND ALL THAT HARD WORK OFFSEASON!!!
all the touchbacks and the booming punts seemed strange to me. if i wasnt so lazy i'd look up asu's home vs away touchback % and punting avg. i'd bet the low humidity affects the distance. i was all for the fake. play to win. i wonder though if jackson purposely threw it short. they had a td (well, had to get by the return man) but was probably scared of overthrowing. lazy question #2. does UT still have colquitt?
You are corrrect I believe Miles said that this kid from ASU was among if not the highest punting average in the nation. Ad to the positive people here Miles did not expect the same yardage in the games upcoming. However there were no shanks are anythig like that so STR is looking solid. But the onnly big change isthe PAT's and that is a result of personel changes. I got all this from Les Miles show so you don't have a problem with me talk tothe coach and his negative ways.
didnt mean to imply that i was somehow unpleased with our special teams. i just wouldnt be surprised if a few yards on each punt and kickoff were because of the air. speaking of air. anyone mentioned how it seems that only asu players had problems with the heat? and they live there. :hihi: :hihi:
