1. Nope. Just the content they edit and post and their TOS they break.

  2. can you give me an example of something they should not be allowed to do?
  3. I just did. Be held liable for the content they edit, post and the TOS they break. Like a publisher.

What do you think Trump is trying to do? Delete Twitter?
  4. what do you mean liable? can you give a more specific example? make up a hypothetical where the govt needs to intervene in twitter
  5. Next thing you know they will be adding pro Biden messages to his tweets.

  6. which should also be fine! its their platform

  8. and? they still own it and they can be what you define as a platform or not. and they should be allowed to dicriminate and mock and edit anything they want. they should be allowed to edit trumps posts to say "i am a nazi faggot" if they want.

they have legal protection from being held liable for things posted by their users, since they are not posting that stuff, their users are. this is not a protection they should be denied.

publishing is different because in the past a thing like a book or magazine is curated. if i edit a book of essays on liberty, i am the one who chose your essay, so i bear responsibility. but online platforms are so large and accessible they cannot be held responsible for all the posts. and thats the way it should be it requires no executive orders to change.
  9. but twitter took it upon themselves to determine content by the president and not to others doing the same

are you contending that this is ok except for those you don’t like because that’s what this is
  10. Here is an example. The bullying was mostly on twitter started by CNN and the Post.

Further, no one said the government need to intervene in every issue. Simple put twitter in the same category as CNN etc if they choose to editorialize content.
