No, he never said that he caught it. His brother sent it to some friends with a fake caption as a joke. It made it's rounds on the internet and he was sat down for a couple of meetings about it, but the guy in the picture never lied about anything. In fact, he is the one that set the record straight with me when I asked him about it.
Visiting family in N.O. the week of T-giving. Gonna take my son and his cousins to Delacroix. My son is 9 y/o and we haven't had the opportunity to catch many fish yet, so I am hoping this trip sets that straight. His two cousins, who are 9 and 12, have grown up in La., and neither has ever caught a fish. Abysmal shame. Has to be remedied. When I discovered that, I made it a point to set up this trip. Hoping we catch limits. Should be a blast, and a great experience for the boys, no matter what.
