Most countries and allies spy on each other but when they get caught they are normally unceremoniously sent back home without all the publicity and fanfare. Hence, what is curious about this particular case is why all the publicity? Hence, something else must be up. Normally, when Israeli Jews are caught spying in the US the anti-Semites and Arabist sympathizers in our government and press always make as big an issue out of it as possible in order to vilify and demonize Israel and Jews, while Israel, on the other hand, just quietly sends the Americans back home they catch spying in Israel without making a big issue out of it. However, with the USA making such a big issue out of these Russian spies may indicate something else may be up.
