Not at this time. RP needs more time working in the system. I think that by the end of the season he will be as good as Flynn (considering the playing time RP is getting this season), and after next spring - the sky will be the limit - it all depends on how the young receivers come along and how the OL holds up. ldskule: ldskule: ldskule:
The title should have been LSU is better with Crowton than with Fisher... Not knocking Flynn. I think he's doing a great job and definatley seems less prone to making bad decisions, but there's a reason he didn't beat out Russell for the starting job. He had plenty of opportunities to. Overall, this offense is the best I've seen out of LSU and I don't think it's becasue we have more talented players this year than we have had in the past.
The real question: Is LSU better with Andrew Hatch at QB? He's the chosen one that will lead us to numerous national championships :thumb:
Ugh. Small sample sizes and faulty logic abound. Is LSU better in 2007 than in 2006? Maybe, way too early to tell. Does replacing Jamarcus Russell with Matt Flynn MAKE LSU better? Almost certainly not.
