I think Auburn has to replace their top two recievers plus that tight end that was pretty good, so the passing game may take some time to develop.
I think these are the best rankings that I've seen. That is about the right place LSU should be ranked.:hihi:
So... they are obviously expecting ND to beat GT, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, UCLA and USC. Can't WAIT to see that!!
If they can find a defense, Notre Dame is a title contender this year. If not, they will still win 9 games.
hahah it's one thing to not like ND, but another to be completely biased about it I see no way they are worse than they were last year they will slaughter USC this year Weis made it clear the day after they lost to them, that he wants them bad
Pretty close, but it was actually AU's #2 & #3 receivers (Devin Aromashodu and Ben Obamanu) that went to the draft. Also gone are WR Anthony Mix and TE Cooper Wallace. Auburn returns it's #1 WR, Courtney Taylor, which is a name I'm confident most LSU fans remember from the '04 game. Also back is Sr. TE Cole Bennett, another standout from the '04 game. Bennett is bracketed with two fine TE's (Trott, McKenzie) and a host of backups for depth. IMO, Auburn will show marked improvement with their TE's this season and, for the first time in Borge's tenure, will utilize them much more frequently in the west-coast style offense. Don't be surpised to see some three-TE sets inside the red zone. I look for the passing game to get a lot of work in the game against MSU, just prior to playing LSU. Still, Auburn will not shake it's reputation of being a "run first" offense.
