A distraction? You need to pay more attention to Les Miles, he LIVES ON DISTRACTIONS!!!! Every season there have been crazy distractions, you would know this if you paid attention to LSU, from Katrina to hot seat, to clock management to player suspensions and dismissals, a week before the season, it doesn't matter, Miles is above that shit. He's a man, he's over 40

I'd still like a citation of when a head coach of a program was suspended by the NCAA for a season for infractions. NCAA can penalize institutions, not suspend coaches. Correct?

Pretty sure that this means that the NCAA can attach penalty to violations that ordinarily would have been shielded by a statute of limitations only if those violations continued (willfully) within the most recent 4 years. This means that the NCAA has to have proof that violations occurred within the last 4 years in order to throw out the statute of limitations. It doesn't work the other way around.

 

I thought he was a Sooner that pretended to have some great relationship with Jamarcus MacFarland and wrote this huge story about how Texas illegally recruited him and offered money and all kinds of derogatory shit. I mean obviously Mack Brown ain't paying no one, and if he is he should ask for a refund.

 

True, and I can tell you that most of this is swirling around the players that were kicked off the team. Like it or not, one of the hits that CLM has taken up here is that he recruited some really shady characters when he was here at okie lite. Probably because he had no choice beings he was up against the likes of OU, Tx, and Neb at the time. There is no question he had some riff raff with him but dude was trying to win, I guess.

I think the moral is, if you lay with dogs you are bound to get fleas and it looks like some of them may still have sour grapes.

I posted this in the thread in the Coll sports forum, there is a guy on the radio here that played 4 years under CLM when he was here. He to this day is still pissed that Miles lied to them the night of that bowl game in SA when the LSU rumors had surfaced. He said on the radio this morning that he would be shocked if any of this is proven to be true because he didn't see any of it and that it would be hard for him to believe any of this was going on and he just "missed" it.

Well, he it has been proven that he is a lying rat and his resume has been picked apart more than once for inaccuracy. If this dude had any claim to ever attending OU I can assure you that the freaking national guard would be on high alert in Norman right about now.
