Have not seen Turner or Austin mentioned for a visit but they both came in for the last Junior Day. They are not being overlooked with Frank Wilson's ties to St. Aug but we want to see them in camp before an offer. We project both on the OL as of now and we have to wait and see where they stack up on our board because we have 2 already on board and Robinson likely another OL we land in-state with a slew of other guys offered from around the country.
Very good visits according to the top guys there. There were only about 6 or so guys we would have accepted commits from at this time. About 100 guys came in but all the St. Aug guys missed (Renaldo Thomas, Turner, and Austin). Sylve and Qeuintin Thomas also missed the game. However, Greg Robinson was very close and I expect him to commit to LSU soon which is good news. Micky Johnson and Joe Morrow were in Miami for a camp. Lifka came in earlier in the week along with Jabriel Washington. Nathan Hughes had a great visit and we offered his teammate TE Max Stevenson. Both are former teammates of Luke Muncie.
Rasco didn't make it? I take that as a bad sign considering he skipped us for Bama's Junior day a few weeks ago...
According to Sonny, he says he would not change our spot with anyone else at this time. Rasco talks to our staff regularly and probably had a visit to the campus or has one setup for more one-on-one time. He has been to LSU numerous times over the years so going to see what is out there is not a big deal IMO. He is going to see what others have to offer.
