I find it ironic that everyone is talking about that Favorite facemask (that got called). But I remember during the Alabama game JP Wilson, was getting sacked and someone grabbed his facemask and it flew off without him even flinching. I watched that play and a red flag went off. Why, all of a sudden, are the helmets coming off so easily this year?

1/LSU fans agree that Murphy's spear was uncalled for and unexcusable, 2/ the "Sportsmanship" thingy was uncalled for as well but may have been him just hurrying up, excited- though I admit, in the overall context of the game, looked bad. 3/ The "Fumble" did look like a missed fumble but, like we learned with AU game last year, sometimes calls are missed. 4/ Mitchell wasn't given room to make the catch on the punt so it's ironic that SC fans are complaining about "Rules" and nothing missed on that one except SC. 5/ The blocking in the backs drew flags and negated a TD, they do happen a lot on kick off/punt returns cause the returner changes direction, taking what the coverage gives........I thought Spurrier may have taught the wimps to turn their backs to draw a flag or either they were scared to hit. :lol: That vid has been posted several times already but, strangely enough, LSU still has a "W" and South Carolina has another game today so tell the cry babies to move on and that our next meeting will be much worse with a dry field and a healty Flynn/Doucet. Guys I enjoy your board and find the majority of LSU fans to be great fans and lovers of sports. Once again, good luck to the tigers and I hope for a rematch in the SEC championship game. In the St./South Carolina game, SC was flagged for "Blocks in the back" - two on one play. Also, SC hit a punt returner who was already down.....very marginal but still. Coaches were also crying about another no call, can't remember right off what exactly it was. Definitely some whiny.
