Another thing crossed my mind concerning Spurrier not taking the Florida job. If he had been hired by UF, the contract most likely would have been very lucrative, possibly surpassing the contract Nick Saban has. Saban will now likely remain the highest paid coach in cfb. :thumb: :thumb:
Spurrier just wanted to hear himself called the #1 choice for a week or two and thats the only reason he didn't tell them no from the start. He will probably be in Miami making much more money and showing the NFL that the run and gun will not work for the Dolphins either.
poop doody poo poo ca ca crap dooky doo doo chocolate surprise stinky loaf stink logs Take your pick.
I personally think he did it to screw Foley one last time. That was a big part of the reason he left round 1. Plus, don't you think Foley had him wrapped up since he canned Zook so quickly after the MSU loss? Spurrier can say all he wants how he and Foley now have a good relationship...its bs. He basically cost him his job since there is no one acceptable to take the job now. Besides God himself coming down to lead the Gators then anyone else will be like dating Roseanne. Their fans have been going ballistic since everyone @ UF claimed they had him. Funny shiiiit.
