Oh, and another thing. There is this tidbit from the article: Really? By who? A homeless refugee just back from a hard day's looting the city? The Saints were in San Antonio and the Dome was a blacked out stinking hellhole! And we're to believe someone went in during that time to deal with this issue? Throws a bit of a credibility issue out there, don't you think? The more I think about this story, the more I expect the following tweet to hit the 'net:
You think ESPN is going to issue a retraction and apology when they realize there's no proof to what this 'anonymous source' said and that they've been had? Hell no, they won't. But the PR damage has already been done.
Who in hell are all these snitches within the Saints organization? Someone riddle me that, what kind of unit is Benson running......get rid of all these tattle tail snitches, find out who the "Santiago" is and give him a Code Red ASAP!
No doubt. Even worse if people are making stuff up that isn't even true, like this story appears to be.
ESPN can't prove that this device ever existed. What proof is out there that we cheated? ESPN is about to lose a lot of money in a lawsuit.
I hear ESPN has actual tapes of the relay calls between Loomis and the Saints coaches....but the conversations were held in classical Greek and Latin so Belechick wouldn't catch on. The senior class at Jesuit is currently translating the tapes for ESPN...the story just broke prematurely.
