Stanford gone bye-bye in tourney

    Awwww....too bad....Stanford won't even make it to a super regional.

    Hey - go easy on the Card...

    Let's take a look at their seasons this year:

    FOOTBALL:
    - Last place finish in in the PAC-10.
    - A sad place for a sad team in a sad conference.

    BASKETBALL:
    - First place finish in the PAC-10
    - Eliminated from the tourney early after being in first place nationally
    - Fail to even make the Sweet 16
    - Lose Josh Childress and Mike Montgomery to the NBA.

    And now this from a perennial baseball powerhouse who spent most of the season in first place. After the Paul Carey slam to beat us in the '88 CWS, I LOVE IT when they go down hard in ANY sport.

    But hey, I hear the women's tennis team looks good this year!!!!!!

    Daddy's money can't buy us a strong enough drink tonight. :cry: :cry: :cry:
