Part of the reason these polls suck is b/c IF Stanford wins, they will still be ranked below USC - even with a better record and having beat them on the field.

As for the long run, I can't believe there wasn't a 'safety' back 20 yards off the line of scrimmage. Safert - being the fastest guy on the team just in case something like that happens.

Well, it looks like USC has made some adjustment and are moving the ball pretty well. Hopefully Stanford can react to their adjustment and shut em down.

Great downfield coverage!! Definition of a coverage sack right there... and moved USC out of FG range.

If USC were playing a good team, they would definately lose this game. If they eek out a win, they won't lose points in the poll like other schools. Cupcakes + Media Darlings = Easiest Way to the Orange Bowl

They will never win the Orange Bowl this way though!

They have no idea what something called "defence" is....

I was about to type the same thing. No doubt. He willed them to a win against Va Tech and is really getting it done against Stanford.

Win or lose, this game shows just how valuable an accurate QB is on the collegiate level. You don't have to have a cannon arm, super quick feet, etc.---just be accurate and be smart with the ball.

Matt Mauck proved that-for the most part-last year. Once LSU gets that same production at QB again, they'll be impossible to beat.
