You thought Alabama was coming into the PMAC and winning. In fact the game was well in hand... in fact 16+ points in hand until Felix got some clean-up baskets. I don't think LSU winning by a similar margin is that outlandish, especially considering our considerable offensive firepower of late, and considering you just allowed Georgia to score 88 points. Why not? Wouldn't you agree LSU's big men are just as good as Davidson and Hendrix? Wouldn't you say that Steele MIGHT...just MIGHT have trouble against a 6'5" ball defender? It's you, my friend, that is outlandish. :geauxtige
I keep waiting for a team to match LSU on the court and hand us our first (conference) loss... It hasn't happened yet, and quite frankly, the way LSU has been playing...I'm not sure that they WILL lose if they keep this intensity up. I don't think it is realistic to expect that though. Our guys are playing great and unfortunately it is pretty tough (if not overtly impossible) to go undefeated in the SEC. Eventually LSU is going to have a slightly-off-game, meet another team's best and we'll end up losing. I don't necessarily think it will be against Alabama that we lose, but who knows... it's almost inevitable (that we lose to SOMEONE.) Kudos to CJB for scheduling a tough OOC schedule that has prepared us well for the SEC. Maybe the SEC is overrated, but that's okay... we still played head-to-head with some of the best in the nation. I still think LSU will win... and win handily. We are HOT right now and Alabama is... well. Who knows?
I'm just joking around with Grad punk. I know my place...I know making the dance will be tough. I also know that I am extremely proud of this team however they finish. Down to 7 scholarship players but not quitting. Gottfried is doing a great job this year! I'm not letting anything go...Roll Tide Roll bish. :thumb:
