We have some heat seaking missles in the secondary. LaMichael James has not been hit the way he is going to be next saturday. Loston reminds me of LaRon Landry with the way he hits. I think our Safties cause 2 fumbles on their own. Don't forget either that Oregon lost Seastrunk last week too. I thought he was going to add depth. James will be a sore dude without a good backup in place.

Stat predictions are guesses, so no one can argue logically for or against the predictions in this thread. However, your comment about Seastrunk is inaccurate, so I feel compelled to correct it. Seastrunk was not even our number 3 back when he left. Most logical speculation for his departure, and he made comments as such, is he left because 1. He wanted to start 2. Wanted to be close to his sick grandmother. News here in Oregon is that he slipped to 4th or even 5th on the depth chart. He was already behind James (obviously) and Barner (James' clear backup and Oregon's number 2 RB since all of last year). Word came out that 2 freshmen (Thomas the 5 star recruit that Oregon nabbed from USC late in the recruiting game as well as a big power back Tra Carson) passed Seastrunk on the depth chart. Barner is the number 2 RB on the team. Seastrunk was not going to beat him out as it was, but seems he was even being beat by 2 freshman. In Seastrunk's defense, word is also that he was really home sick and it effected his play. Wish him nothing but the best as he seems like a great kid. Hope he does great for Baylor. The main point is Oregon has no shortage of RBs and Barner is the clear cut number 2.
I did hear the same thing you are saying, and have no doubt he would have been #3 at best, but for a school to let someone transferr with no fight the way Oregon did with Lache, especially after going after him as hard as they did, they would usually have wanted him to stay and redshirt for next season, I think the investigation had more to do with Oregon letting him transferr than his abilities.
