The SEC has voted to disallow cowbells for non-conference games, too.

    About time.

Also note that "Postgame 'curtain calls' won't be permitted". Does this mean no postgame cigar show on the Jumbotron for The Tube and his amusing sidekicks?

    FROM THE ARTICLE:
Postgame "curtain calls" won't be permitted, while marching bands will be limited in the number of songs they can play after games are finished.

And police helicopters with searchlights will seek out anyone trying to have fun in the dark.

Maybe they can play real long songs like Stairway to Heaven or Freebird or even one of those Greatful Dead jams that go on forever.

How long before animal mascots are banned from the field and sidelines?
