I actually see us having an advantage over UT in several different areas. I suspect the game to be close, and if it is, UT has been very porous in the 2nd half and 4th quarter this year.

I figure this game to be an offensive struggle. While Bama has yet to put together 60 minutes of play on offense and Ainge is having a good year looking at the last quarter of play tells me we'll have the ability to score there.

I did not follow the whole Phil Fulmer/Bama war when I guess Fulmer turned in Bama. You state above that Bama got put on probation because of Fulmer. Did Bama break some rules? It seems if they are guilty of something that Fulmer should not be blamed. Can you shed some light on this? I was living in Texas at the time and did not get a lot of coverage about this. The only thing I remember is Fulmer not coming to Alabama for some SEC meetings because of death threats from Bama fans.

Thanks for supplying this article. It sounds like Alabama was very guilty and admitted its guilt. I don't think infractions against Tennessee should have been dropped because Fulmer was helping them if that really did happen. If rules are broken you should pay the price.

Yep, shoot the phat messenger. Ignore the fact that illegal activities took place and blame a rival (and far from unbiased) coach for reporting said illegal activities.

Welcome to modern America where no one is accountable for their own actions...

OOPS........sorry I didn't mean to quote this post I was trying to post on another thread. Please ignore.

In all fairness, It's not my fault.......I was over on SwampGas and they flamed me and then deleted all my posts so I was distracted. I think their site should be removed from the internet and their mods should be prosecuted.

That's part of the point. Why hasn't Fulmer been held accountable for his actions?

It would take days to rehash all of the NCAA things and quite frankly, I don't have time, or patience, for it. Painting Fulmer in the light that he was just the messenger is far, far from the truth. The truth be told, it's the NCAA that's to be held to blame. But, Fulmer was blatant in some if his lies and even with evidence supporting the fact he was lying it was simply overlooked.

It is ironic that the point his attentions were focused on taking a program down is the point where his own program starting sinking.
