First, I'll just say that this is a very common practice in our Judicial System, so why is it not in regards to the NCAA. (Not that I agree with it, and not that people/programs who engage in wrong-doing shouldn't all be held accountable).

It may be chicken chit, but it's plea bargaining at its finest- Phil took it for all he could get. Plea bargaining actually involves three areas of negotiation:

1/ Charge Bargaining, 2/ Sentence Bargaining, 3/ Fact Bargaining. Ol Phil may be fat but he ain't no dummy.

I can understand Bama fans not liking him for it;however, had there been no "Wrong-doings" to begin with, he couldn't have reported. If you do the crime,.....

I know Logan Young's reputation and the things he's been involved with. At the same time, I know a lot of what Fulmer reported was BS.

What ticks me off the most is all of this revolves around a hard on Johanningmeier has towards UA based on what happened to him when he was in T-town. His last tirade ended up with a UA official being paid millions by the NCAA because of what he reported...

    It's all history now...

I'd like Fulmer to stay there and keep losing for as long as possible. Nick is safe unless he loses to State.

    Good post...

Fulmer has had an agenda from the start, and once again, he's to blame for Bama's lack of success in recent years due to the crippling probation.

Thanks for the posts. I think I get the picture. I still don't think it is right for Fulmer to get off if he himself committed NCAA crimes. Will he ever be able to spend a vacation in the state of Alabama and feel safe? What a price to pay. I don't know how strong feelings still run about this regarding PF.

So Fulmer paid players to go to Bama? :hihi: I agree Fulmer was a snake but come on.

Boosters and lack of control were the reasons for your lack of success.

I didn't know Fulmer was an employee of Bama, and broke the rules.
Fulmer may be the reason y'all got caught, but he ain't the reason y'all got took down.
