You've failed to mention the talent that we do have. And we have a better D-coordinator now. Everyone got whipped during the Alabama and Arkansas games last year. It wasn't a lack of talent that lost us those two games; it was a lack of effort and preparation. The talent is there for 14-0. It remains to be seen whether the will is there.

it was plenty lack of depth and talent on the dline.

and lack of a brain on offense from the hnic.

The latter is referring to a lack of preparation. As to the lack of talent on the D-line: Davon Godchaux is on the Outland Trophy Watch List for this year; Arden Key, Davon Godchaux, and Lewis Neal are all on the Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List; Davon Godchaux is a second team All-SEC D-Lineman; finally, Lewis Neal and Davon Godchaux are both on the watch list for the Bronco Nagurski award. Our D-Line is stacked with talent. If you don't like these metrics, then pick a measurement of talent, and we'll see where the D-Line is.

If they do not play better against the elite competition there will be no trophies for anyone. Just ask Fournette. Not only are we being overhyped as a team, but individually as well? We were lucky to only lose the three games last year. Miss St came down to a missed field goal. Florida took some creative trickery. Not too mention how Syracuse and Texas Tech stuck around until the 4th quarter.
This was not just the case last year, but the year before when we lost four games with virtually the same players. All of sudden Harris is going to be the stud QB---heard that before?
The new D-Coord will change everything in his first year? Heard that before? Tepper was the greatest thing since slice bread when he came to LSU.

you can metric til the cows come home and show me all the preseason awards and top 5 preseason rankings. Ill show you the real ones after the season. Our line got pushed around like red headed step children and was the worry before the season started to anyone paying attention. This season should be better but we will see. Depth and talent was lacking and why we got our ass handed to us 3 straight.

You could have stopped after your first sentence. You've admitted that there's nothing I can show you that would change your mind. Your opinion is unfalsifiable, which makes it necessarily irrational.

We are also failing to mention we have adopted the 3-4. Duke Riley is actually starting too. I'm not sure we have the D Line for this yet, but we shall see.

or I could just prove my point by saying no really talented defensive line gives up 250 yards right up the gut like we did vs bama.
then after being embarrassed this super talented deep line gave up 300 yds rushing to R-kansas. And then completed the hat trick with 3 rushing tds and 5 ypc in another loss to Ole Miss.

yeah we prolly just didnt practice well and all that depth and talent simply had a bad month in the most important stretch of games of the season. shit happens.
