I'm hoping for a Saints/Patriots type game from last year. This offense has been horrible this year...with or without Bush, et al. The offensive line needs to play well tonight as the Steelers will kill us if we play as weak as we've been playing. I want TDs on offense, defense, and special teams but I really want to see our offense start playing better. The offense looks like a Jordan Jefferson-run offense with a Gary Crowton playbook. I want the old Brees/Payton offense back!
The defense has looked good on the first two series. The offense passed on the first seven plays then ran 3 straight. (I can see why they're throwing as the running isn't looking real good.) I hope Ivory can bust a few heads. Ryan Clark may be a LSU guy but screw his a$$ for being a jerk!
The defense and special teams have done their job thus far. The offense needs to get it done. Other teams are taking away our big play opportunities and we haven't adjusted. If Payton is a genius it's time to start showing it. Colston has already dropped two passes.
The defense plays well again and the offense starts at their own 41 yard line. They FINALLY do something by going 45 yards and set up a 31 yard FG. Steelers 3 SAINTS 3 HALF
I always respected Tony Dungy as a coach and was sad when he lost his son. As an announcer though...he's pretty lame an also a real jerk. NBC is not a good network and having an idiot like Dungy surely doesn't help them. He makes crap up almost as bad as some of the NBC "so called" journalists.
The Steelers haven't given up a TD on the initial drive of any half. This is what the Saints (minus the past month) have done well. Let's hope we can get the TD!!! Nine yards to go!
