It seemed that David Jones was almost out running Devery!!! But it definitely seems that Strait outran Devery. Anyone notice that DL(Harris 93) in the bootm right hand corner still trying tackle Mauck. What was he doing?? It was like 2 stills after the ball was handed off lol.
Wasn't it David Jones who almost scored on the fake field goal in the Sugar Bowl? He was incredibly speedy--and (I think) would've scored if he'd have cut back in, instead of getting forced to the sideline.
Agreed. The gunner did a good job of holding the block as long as he did. It was a nice play call (Since it worked). Go for the score, and if not, it is as good as a pooch punt.
