Here's my strategy for the win...........geaux to bama. Kick some azz. Return to the great state of Louisiana. Simple enough. And I'll ditto what everyone else said too.
We need to be creative and run out of passing formations and pass out of run formations. Keep the D off balance, play mistake free ball on offense and we can easily put up 41 tomorrow. The D will not give up more than 20. This game comes down to our offensive execution. Keep the chains moving, win the time of possession battle. Keep our D fresh and theirs tired come the 4th quarter and pull away with an easy victory (31-20).
Run early, run often.. and rotate backs. Get into 2nd and short situations and we'll absolutely shred their secondary. Oh, and run at their tackle. Trap block, chop block, smash him into pieces. He's fairly young -- make him realize it.
OK, lets make this a "point" in this game. "Run the damned ball"!!! with all the talent we have at RB, we can eat the clock up and own Bama's "D" line. Also, QB situation being what it is. less of a chance for Matt to get hurt. Defense, bring the heat! Blitz from different setups and often, that will throw a monkey wrench into the Tides offense. Finally, some new plays wouldn't hurt, keep them guessing and off balance. :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye: :geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux::geaux: :helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet::helmet:
Control the ball with the runing game and dominate the time of possession. If Bama can't get the ball back, they can't score.
Blitz the h**l out of them, cover the receivers and take advantage of Saban's blitzes by getting rid of the ball quickly and executing the running game well.
