If you see a griswald for a fair price get it. They are well worth it if you gonna cook in it a lot. That lid is lodge logic but it's with a diff pot that someone gave me. They aren't bad but are not near a griswald. Pot is a griswald. Far as handle goes weird all mine have those I can't say I've seen one with out that type handle
