1. if the students are indeed mindless sheep, then it should be easy to lead them them in the right direction with a little prodding.

  2. By "a little prodding" I assume you are referring to your earlier statement about making them feel like jerks?

Or did you have something more literal in mind?
  3. I have since stopping reading the post in this thread because well its all pointless.

HOWEVER driving the route this morning and being bored to death I have come up with another song the students can ruin and get banned from playing....

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY HEY BABY "YOU SUCK" I wanna know if y'all be my girl (student section has always add bitch here)
  4. I hope not. I can just see it now...

Somewhere in Plantation Trace amongst a cloud of smoke, Natty Light cans formed in a beeramid, John Belushi "college" shirt poster, black lights...
"Hey, dude, we'll show the admins...let's think of more curse words we can add to other cherished songs. They cant take them all away! Take that, old dudes"
  5. They can't. That would be the equivalent of cutting down a tree to solve a race issue. It's not going to work. They have already went about it the wrong way. They need to do the PSA like some have mentioned. Make them self resolve like the master has mentioned.
  6. Thanks for the reply and summary. Very well done and informative. I hope Skip Bertman and the school can get involved in turning this bad behavior around similar to how the visiting fans are treated around the campus before the games. I've enjoyed reading the overwhelming positive comments from Virginia Tech and South Carolina fans about our school's football and tailgating experience. I hope the majority of positive fans sitting in the student section will rise up against the loons throwing profanity laced bombs around. Once they see it will not be tolerated I think they will shut up or leave.
  7. Somehow or another I missed this for two years (not counting this year) in the student section until USCe. I was appalled at such a traditional song being molested like that. I left it out of my original post on accident. Further proves my point, though.

I've been singing that song with the band since elementary school.
