cmon, kids are suposed to get drunk and disorderly. chants of all kinds are fine, even if vulgar. throwing stuff is a different issue though.
It's not going away anytime soon, so I'm gonna look into marketing these ear muffs to the kids in Tiger Stadium.
This is where you are wrong. You are not guaranteed freedom of speech any where and everywhere. This is the type of idiocy that makes the people fighting for "TRUE" freedom of speech issues look bad. If the University deems cursing a violation and start to enforce it then you cannot claim freedom of speech. You need to learn a thing or two about the issue before you clamor freedom of speech. :angryfire
Congratulations on being the most immature poster on this board. I am no prude but to suggest that it is a neccesity shows your immaturity. It only shows the ignorance of the student section for not coming up with something original. I mean come one...."ha ha I made a dick joke". Yeah it's great that you utilize all 3 brain cells to come up with that one.
That's because they save it for the road games. I remember last year's basketball game LSU had against A&M. They brought a surprisingly large crowd (that mostly consisted of students) for a game that was in the middle of the week. They began antagonizing the LSU student section by starting some sort of chant calling LSU "faggots", or something along those lines.
the students are not trying to win the nobel prize for cheer authoring, just trying to drink and enjoy a game with some stupid cheers.
That's a rather bold statement with the whopping 16 posts you have on this board. Perhaps you should earn a little more forum credibility before chastising an established and well-respected member here.
well to be fair, i am clearly immature. but back to the topic. i dont think we need to ask the students to hire an army of oxford-educated wordsmiths to make up cheers. if they come up with a dick joke, i say good on em for trying. if we wanted to waste time crafting goofy intricate cheers or choreographed dances we woulda gone to duke.
So what does that make me if I happen to agree with souper? What the hell does post count have to do with his statement? I think you will find that most fans will find the behavior last Saturday immature. Doesn't matter how many posts or how old they are.
What the deal with the group in the top right. I saw them come in (in true Ole Miss fashion) in shirts and ties.... but they were wearing red ties. :dis::dis::dis:
