1. Nobody had really heard of Searles either. This guy has good credentials. What coach doesn't adjust to having more talented players? It's what he needs to keep advancing as a coach.
  2. He looks like an o-line coach. That's about all I have to go on, so I'm happy with this hire. Oh, and his credentials are good I guess, though I don't know what makes up a great resume for college o-line coaches.
  3. I'd like to see an interview with him after his first game in Tiger Stadium. I bet he smiles at least once. :)
  4. He's going to be in for a treat. I bet he'd be shocked to see the attendance at the Box too. :thumb:
  5. Welcome Coach Stud.

That's his nick by the way. Use it freely.
  6. The attendance at the box is probably more than he's ever seen at BG home games
  7. he was up for Assistant of the year...

what more do you want, brother?

  8. The fact that he was recognized as the top assistant coach in the country in '04 goes to show you that he is highly thought of.

Also, you have GOT TO LOVE a coach that goes by the nickname "STUD"--ESPECIALLY when he's your new O-Line coach!!! :thumb:
  9. I heard he STILL hasn't said "Geaux Tigers"! What's wrong with this man?!
  10. I definitely trust miles on this one being that CLM used to be a lineman himself in college.

    Welcome to the squad, Stud!:geauxtige
