Stuffing in or out?

    Both. First shot at the dressing inside the turkey is reserved for the cook (me).

    Since the bird and the dressing cook at different speeds, and need to cook to different temperatures, the best way to cook BOTH to perfection is out of the bird. Otherwise one or the other will be less than perfect.

    Cornbread dressing with creamy giblet gravy can be a meal in itself.

    my moms cornbread dressing with oysters in it with gravy over it....

    who needs turkey!

    My in-laws cook cornbread dressing with lump crab meat. Cest bon! :thumb:
