Re: Sugar Bowl The way I understand it, if you buy LSU, you only have the right to sell LSU. (Edit: You are buying the team and the game, not just buying the game) You can't buy LSU and then sell it to a Florida fan to use for Florida. Is that not correct? If you could sell it to fans of a different team, they would end up with a lot more people with the right to purchase tickets than they would have tickets available it would seem. I don't know how the thing actually works, the website isn't that clear. I'd think that's how the holder of the tickets actually makes money though. Sell each team for $95. If, say fans of the top 10 teams buy a fan forward for that ticket, you just made $950 off one ticket. Why would the holder of the ticket agree to sell it for only a $95 profit? I wouldn't think so. Maybe somebody can clear this up. Would hate to see someone get stuck.
Re: Sugar Bowl I think you are right. I looked over it again, but it isn't really clear. But it does sound like each fan forward is assigned a team. Maybe someone who has used it can clarify.
Re: Sugar Bowl I'm sure it works out, but it seems a little screwy. If a fanforward guarantees the right to a ticket, what happens if I buy LSU, you buy USC, and they both end up in the title game. Looks like the right to each ticket could be bought by two people. But this site was up last year, so there must be an answer to that. I've got no idea what it is though.
