i'm sure the saints will end up moving, at this point i don't know if i really care or not. however according to what i've heard on the news and radio benson doesn't want to give season ticket holders their money back just to ensure that the fans and state are upset and refuse to pay him come may, which would allow him to shop the team to other cities without paying the $85 million to get out of his contract with the state. if the nfl allows benson to do this i will never watch an nfl game again, which may not be that bad considering how much better college ball is anyway.
I know that the State was trying to renegotiate the contract with a-hole Benson but they never defaulted did they? Please tell me that the State/Foster didn't negotiate such a bad contract that Benson can walk away scott free. He should have to pay the State through the nose to leave!
See I think the opposite. I think the hard working people will move back within the next 3 years but the poor people will stay where they are sent. Good thought about building it somewheres else. On another note I went to meterie today and most of the houses are ok just a ton of trees down.
If the NFL allows the Saints to be relocated I will never watch a pro game again. I know New Orleans won't be able to support a franchise, but its just cold hearted to begin talks of moving them now.
people die in public places all the time. but considering the current conditions that those people went through, the place would not give me warm and fuzzies which is why I will have a hard time of going back. there is nothing about that be naive that is just a matter of preference. I will go back to NO, but It will be a long time.
No one ever said Benson had a heart. Come to think of it, I think we have found the grand prize winner of the Oz Trifecta with Benson..... No Heart No Brains No Courage
i believe that if the state doesn't pay benson by may he can shop the team to other cities without any penalites, but if the state pays him and he wants to leave new orleans he has to pay the state $85 million to get out of the contract. i'm not sure what the state owes him in may, and i could be wrong about this all together, but thats what i've been hearing
Fair 'nuff. I''ll agree on the warm fuzzies factor. But we gotta be strong in the face of this disaster. Quite a few personal demons will have to be stared down. . .
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to OkieTiger again. Right on. His scumbaginess has never been more evident than it is now. No donations, and all he can think about is getting the F out. Well, SON, they ain't gonna put up with your chickensh*t in Texas.
