Superstition

I use to step on the line every time- maybe reason I blew out my shoulder.

 

lets hope you dont make the same mistake with your own son.

 

I never went so far as to have a ritual before, during or after a game but I definitely had a lucky shirt, batting glove and pair of socks.

My wife wouldn't let him use his left hand when he was a baby - made him a righty - didn't understand he would have a natural uncle charlie, as a lefty.

nah, this was a white guy. Maybe Harang, but I wanna say it was someone in Arizona (don't think it was Webb or Haren).
not sure, the lunchtime show interviews players several times a week, and for the life of me, I can't remember which pitcher was the one talking about superstitions. Said he started doing it in High School to prove to his team mates that it ain't bad luck. Now he steps on it all the time.

 

Naw, dude losing the glass fish was a mo betta worse decision... :wink:
