I just looked at the stats of these teams. It's ugly.....real ugly.....for both teams The ugliest part will be Nueter Dumb's prolifically bad offense against one of the worst defenses you will ever see in Syracuse. Should be quite a battle. I predict 11 turnovers, countless penatlies, at least one safety, a blocked punt, 2 muffed punt returns, a missed extra point, and two overtimes to decide the victor. Can LSU fans keep it together to watch their own team play by the time 7 PM comes around (we still have the USC blowout to watch as well)? Lawd help us all! Final Score Syracuse 33 Notre Dame 26 Double OT
Notre Dame will not lose to the Orangemen. Willingham's will will not allow that. Also, ND has additional motivation that has gotten no national press>>>>>If Notre Dame loses then Michigan passes them for all-time winning %. Michigan already has the most wins in CF and the % thing is of great pride to ND. It's all they have left from their days of glory. The only way LSU goes to the Sugar is if we beat Georgia AND the AP/ESPN polls move us to 2. But we already knew that.
My prediction is about the same as islstl.... 11 turnovers, countless penatlies, at least one safety, a blocked punt, 2 muffed punt returns, a missed extra point, and two overtimes to decide the victor. but it will be 4 overtimes and the score will end up being 2-0 Syracuse.
If Syracuse looks anywhere near as ugly as Bowling Green did tonight, I'm not sure if I'm going to make it all the way to 7. If Notre Dame and USC wins, I'll just watch and hope LSU wins so we can get the Rose or Fiesta. I'll also want to raise a little hell about Bull$#!+ Championship Series, but I know there's nothing we can do about it this year.
It's up to the Football Gods now ... "THE LSU RULE" ... unbearable After a crushing win over GA, I will refuse to believe in a Deity that will not allow this Conference and this LSU team to reach its' destiny ... College Football's National Champion After #2 Tennessee lost their National Championship shot in 2001, it is past time that the FB Gods give the SEC its' just dessert ... and smile upon the SECs true Champion this Saturday. The SEC Champion deserves to play for a National Championship.
