Brady had nothing to do with the suspension. From The Advocate The suspension has been imposed by LSU and not the school's athletic department or coach John Brady.
I think this does say something about Brady's leadership abilities. One of the great things about Saban was his ability to recruit kids that for the most part were good, smart kids and worked to teach them to be responsible adults. Look at Clayton, Gay, T. Daniels, Lavalais, Spears and just about all of the other players from the Saban era. I don't see this kind of leadership from Brady. I don't expect him to tuck them in bed or proctor their exams or pretend to be their parents, but I would like to see him at least be a positive influence on the players lives.
From the article: "During the suspension, Minor will not be allowed to attend classes at LSU or even be on campus without prior approval, nor can he practice or travel with the basketball team. He remains on scholarship." This sounds pretty serious for him not to be allowed on campus for a whole semester.
the administration caught him cheating dude. i think he was a year ahead of schedule to graduate as well. poor guy needs to learn to cheat better.
I meant to ask what he did, if anyone knew. When you say cheating, do you mean looking on someone else's paper, copying a report verbatim, bringing a cheat sheet into class, or something else. If you know for sure....
