I think it looks great. You did a good job.
I'll try mine tomorrow but without the BBQ sauce and baking it instead of smoking. Hope mine turns out as good as yours.

Nice knife, you keep it sharp?

(I use that knife for almost everything. I also use a serrated, pointy edged 12 in. slicer and a 10 inch boning knife for deboning and filleting fish. Who needs an electric knife when you're packing a 10 inch boner?)

I thought about baking mine but I coudn't get over losing the barbecued flavor.

Heh yeah, that thing is like a razor. My mom got me pretty much an entire set of Wusthof knives for Christmas. The only thing it was missing was steak knives and a santoku. I REALLY want a santoku. I almost went and picked one up this weekend actually. If it hadn't rained the whole time I probably would have.

I'll prolly pass on the steak knives since they are super expensive and the first time some jerk comes over and mistreats it because they don't know what they are holding I would probably blow a gasket. Then I would look like a psycopath being overprotective of a steak knife.

I'd try it. Can't think of anything I've had that bacon didn't improve.

Bacon is okay with moderation--and only if it's crispy. Otherwise, I can always pass.
