if 9-3 and the Capital One Bowl with a new quarterback is underperforming, I have a feeling you are in for a long season.

That was the ugliest 9-3 season I've ever seen. We didn't have our hearts into what we were doing last year--from the coaching staff on down. Now, I don't know if that was letdown after winning the NC or what, but we were a pale version of the '03 team.

I am NOT one of the doomsday people on this board, and I'm not in for a long season. I'm eager to see how things unfold.

My in law is good friends with a d-lineman (starter) and he is not pleased with the scheme and is ticked that Bo makes and I quote here "No adjustments at half time". The players need the coaches to lead them to victory, the system (so far) isn't getting the job done. Florida will tear us apart through the air if we don't change our scheme. We can win most of the rest of our games on athletic talent but we WILL be out coached several times this year.

sorry been at work all day. But yes I did talk to some players. I happen to be pretty good friends with JV and I do talk to Ryan Miller quite often. I've talked to alot of people including Kwilliams, Skyler, JV, Miller, Livings, Vaughn. If you don't believe me then so be it. Not that unheard of for students to be friends with the players. If you don't beleive im in BR then get one of the mods to run a ip trace on me.

From talking to the players I get the sense that they are more frustrated then anything else. Playing today prolly helped. Sklyer got the ball much more and was involved in the offense some. It was also nice to see us go deep a couple of times. Anyways I'm not here to argue with people. If you don't believe me then so be it, kinda funny how most of us that talk to the players are hearing the same thing. Next time I just won't post it.

guys after reading some other post I think some of ya'll are misunderstanding what the players told me. They are still listening to the coaches and what they have to say. They are just having doubts about the system esp. the Defensive guys. The reason is mainly because they say the offense drives up and down the field on them during practice and Pelini says over and over again''No ADJUSTMENTS" he says the same thing many times during the games also. It is more of a frustration issue and they all say that they don't understand why a system that worked so well was changed.

Also for those that were wondering the i formation that we ran so much of last game is something miles put in. They told me he really likes it and believes in it. They also told me it was his call on going conservative in the 2nd half last week, not jimbos.

That being said I still think we have a good chance to go 10-1 despite our DC and HC. If this happens and les makes a change at dc then I beleive we will be fine.
