Tiger fans, I know you're disappointed in the season, but for those going to Tampa, there are some interesting sites to see and things to do.

Our site has some detailed ideas about Tampa and St.Petersburg, as our business is trip planning for large groups visiting FL.. But we have fun sharing the knowledge with leisure visitors.

Check out ideas at our site

Happy to answer any questions on the forum...you'd be surprised at what Tampa Bay has to offer.

Also, the aquarium at Channel side is the best aquarium Ive ever been too. A lot of activities for the kids.

With an emphasis on "their version of"! There is nothing really like Bourbon to be honest. And if you go there expecting it to be, you will be let down. I consider it a street with a bunch of clubs on it. disclaimer, I have not been back there since I was around 22 so I guess it could have changed some.

There is a Dali museum that I always love going to. Is Busch gardens still open?

I lived there off and on over the years, half my family is from their. My other half from New Orleans.

If you're staying downtown, the bar at the Westin(where the LSU team is staying) is pretty good.... Also the Tap on Ashley is a popular beer joint. If you're out by the airport/stadium, head over to international mall... Some really good restaurants and sports bars.... If you're out at the beach on the strip... The Brown Boxer sports bar across from the Sandpearl is where you'll find me and the princess....

    Ain't this the truth.
People in this shithole known as Arkansas talk about how Dickson St in Fayetteville is party central. I went there, and was like ... man this is Beale St for kids. The next year I made my first trip to Bourbon St ... oh man. Beale St is Bourbon St for kids. There really isn't anything like Bourbon St, my ex and I were walking around and I was like .... this is Disneyland for adults.
