People misuse that term more than any other. For crying out loud, the Saints, Packers, and many other NFL teams run a spread offense...and that's pro style.

Fuente runs what he calls a 'power spread', which sounds VERY intriguing to me.

Sounds like we may have a winner. When you are a co anything that means you have to compromise with the other person and seldom get things your way completly. I would think he would love to do things his way instead of compromising with the other offensive co. LSU would be a great fit for him and if les can get this hire this will be great for lsu. :thumb:

Fuentes would be a perfect fit for what Miles wants and what this offense is built for. If one is concerned about him being a spread guy it is only because your exposure is mainly to GC. The spread works great when the OC can call the correct sequence of plays and the players can execute. Under GC neither were happening.

Check the nums on the starters on the TCU offensive line, you will see they were larger than Wisconsins.

    6-6 350, 6-3 305, 6-6 316, 6-2 300, 6-4 310.

    Correct.

    Thus the term "power spread".

These guys just blew you off the ball most times, making running downhill quite effective.
