I'm yanking your chain. They had a great team.

Yep. True to form, Miles will leave us scratching our heads and a bit underwhelmed.

Yes, wow. The Advocate's got the article, saying that Fuente hasn't even talked to Miles.

Now, we got a strange spectrum of lot of washed up former HCs and relatively young QB coaches (but not experienced OCs) on the interview list? Hmmm.

Settle down ladies. Why not save your angst until someone is actually hired.

How so??? When he initially brought in Crowton, he was bringing in one of the most recognized OC's (at the time).

When he brought in Chavis, his hiring was celebrated.

When he hired Frank Wilson and Billy Gonzalez, we were all excited.

Lets not all forget, prior to becoming a head coach, Miles WAS the OC at Oklahoma State.

Because fans always know more than professional coaches with over 20 years experience in the business.

How dare you question the intelligence of those on message boards who know more than every college and professional coach. Hell, just ask them, they will tell you how every player and every play should be coached.

Exactly. Now think about the candidates getting mentioned for this position other than Fuente. Do any of them excite you to the level that Chavis, Crowton, or Wilson did when they were hired?

If it seriously bothers you when people question or discuss personnel decisions about LSU football, then perhaps you should ask yourself why you're here, ace.

Regardless, Miles does have a history of making counter-intuitive decisions. Sometimes they work out great, sometimes not so much. That's what makes him the Hatter. Didn't say it was necessarily a bad thing. . .
