    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

    Perfectly stated.

If anyone out there thinks that Miles is going to make some blockbuster hire, you are fooling yourself. He did that on defense because he isn't a defensive guy. It's almost like what Randy Edsel is doing at Maryland. He brought Crowton in to have full control over the offense, because he is a defensive guy. And another thing that I thought was interesting was that Crowton only went to Maryland because he was offered FULL CONTROL of the offense. What does that tell you about what was going on here?

Les Miles is not going to bring in someone and just hand over the offense. He will be the offensive coordinator and head coach, and he will have a playcaller (as he likes to call it) and a quarterbacks coach.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

I don't know how they fared at Okie St. when he was OC, but it must have been pretty good if they promoted him to HC. But, I do remember that they scored a sh!t-ton of points when he was HC.

He also has a history of making unbelievable corrections to mistakes he has made. I know, there is no room for a mistake this time around. We are right on the edge of being able to take it all. So, let’s look at Crowton as the mistake, so this hire will be the correction. Not a bad mistake when it does help you win an SEC Champ and a MNC. Yeh the price was 2 bad, by our standards, seasons and a very tough to watch offense that ended up as part of a good season. If that’s the mistake, it really isn’t all that horrible.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

You always have good perspective; seeing the big picture, the forest through the trees, comes with maturity, and is quite a good thing to have in life.
