Speaking of that guy he is getting roasted by the left for old tweets. If there is one thing that pisses me off about the left more than anything it's their pc bullshit.

Definitely not, just the most annoying IMO. Liberals actually attacked Sean Penn for joking about an Oscar winning director or producer or writer or whatever he is. Anyway he jokingly asked for the guy's green card and was hammered by liberals for saying that. Now Sean Penn (the definition of ugly bastard gets hot chicks as long as he has money) has done more charity work and outreach and really more good on the scale of humanity than any politician in Washington today, and he gets trashed by liberals for a joke about a greencard for a guy he is friends with? It's gotten really absurd.

There are knee-jerk extremists at both ends of the spectrum who scream loudly about ridiculous things. Obama's biggest critic after the extreme right is the extreme left, who think that he is way too conservative. Ordinarily, fringe elements are ignored by everybody. But the right wing is increasing being led by its extremists. That is what is disturbing . . . the disappearance of pragmatic, traditional Republicans. This is not the Republican party of Ronald Reagan.

@red55 No, the problem is there is no "leader" for the republican party and every swinging dick has taken the opportunity to stand up and release hot air.

All to often people take the most recent yahoo to stand up and say something as a "leader".

Cruz is not a leader in any form.

Do you see any leaders emerging? This situation can't go on forever. Boehner has got to be a short-timer.

@red55 hell no. The party is in shambles.

It would take a guy/gal to stand up and call some of these idiots out. Hard task for anyone.

Jindals political career is over. He'd have a hard time wining a majority of Louisiana voters if he ran for national office. What started out with such promise has turned into just another political self serving heap of shit.

No, just watch. His rhetoric still works on people outside of Louisiana. He will start campaigning for Republican candidates soon and will be angling for a cabinet position. He is finished in Louisiana, but we are not done with the little bastard.

Just an observation because I was only eligible to vote in one Louisiana election, but aren't y'all never really done with any of them? Edwin Edwards comes to mind most recently...
