Quite an honor. LSU has the nation's best player (SA), best point guard (TJ), and best freshman (SF). I hope the Tiger Nation realizes what an exceptionally special team we have this year. And there doesn't look to be much if any drop off for next year.

These individual players awards are a distraction that hurts a team when they are awarded during the team's active playing season.

The timing is off, and the awards should be given after the NC game.

I tried to laugh, but it just wasn't funny.
