The Vols are litterally throwing this game away right now. They were looking confident on that last drive before Ainge throws that INT. UT, IMO, doesn't have the talent advantage over 'Bama (even though the Vols have done better than 'Bama in recruiting the past few seasons) to over-come more than but a couple of turnovers.
Just got back from the game, couldnt take rocky top one more time. Applewhite is owning Tennessee, as is DJ Hall. Bama better keep scoring b/c their d line is awful.
I've been watching off and on - is it just me, or is Tennessee's D pretty awful? DJ Hall is loose and running every time I get a chance to watch! ldskule:
They, like Bama, cant get pressure on the QB and when they do JPW has done a good job of scrambling. Lots of missed tackles between the two.
As I've said on this forum, DJ Hall is one of the best players in the country. This win will move the Tide to 4-1 in the conference, and sole First place in the SEC West.
at least the by week will allow you to enjoy it for an extra week. I do agree that DJ Hall is the man. Just like Josh Reed...so deceptive.
I watched it on CBS via DirecTV if that makes any difference. Strangely, on replays and on CBS promos I could (barely) hear the faintest sound of commmentators. Not sure what CBS was trying to pull, unless it was an error.
