And just remember...Dooley damn near beat the Tigahs last season with his La Tech squad. Perhaps they were overlooking UAB? They played UF better than UK did. Of course, UF made some adjustments last week...but still. I wouldn't expect them to play like they did against UAB.

i haven't watched tennessee play this season (except for a little bit against UAB in OT) so i'm not too knowledgeable on how they've been playing. are they as bad as they seem? or about on miss state's level?

I believe Tenn is even worse than State...
The Kiffin Cupboard was left very, very bare-Only like 3
starters return on the O. Couple of good WR's, and a
really young QB- will be great in a few years.

Although we should Cruise in this one...We'll look like damn
fools in front of those 2 jackholes (Gary and Verne) nationwide
in our first (of prob. many) early time starts this year.

    LSU 26
    Tenn 14

I think Tenn's offensive line will be their weakest point. My guess is Nevis will be player of the week again.

Beware the disrespected team. Tennessee has nothing to lose but pride and will come in here ready to play.

Couldn't this also apply to us? Is it possible or conceivable that our offense could one day click?

    (I didn't think so...)

I am prepared to eat crow!

    LSU Rolls the Vols 42-6

Jefferson is going to have a great game passes for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Stevan breaks for almost 200 yds, the offense doesnt have many problems and defense dominates

Big win for LSU and big win for our confidence & momentum heading to the swamp

I hope Janzen Jackson gets blown up several times.
Vicious blocks. I dont want him hurt I never want that for anyone, but I want him walking off the field dazed and confused.

as much as i would like to think this could happen, i have absolutely NO confidence that this will come to fruition. at all. not even close. at this point i expect:

JJ - to have about 75 yards passing with 2 ints.
SR - to have about 115 yards rushing with 2 TDs.

    final score? LSU 20 - UT 6

i haven't seen anything out of the first four games that has me feeling optimistic at all on offense. if we take one baby-step foward one week, it's like we take a 15 yard sack the next... but defense and STs will keep us in the hunt for a BCS bowl.
