    Touchdown Tennessee.

The LSU coaching staff needs to take notes with what is going on in this game because Tennessee has exposed the Florida defense by their offensive line playing passionate and more physical.

If our O Line can open up some holes against UF, we have a really good chance.

Florida's answer to TN's TD drive?

Florida gets held to 3 and out. Tebow gets stuffed with a big sack.

What sucks for us is while we're playing UGA the week before our UF game... Florida gets the week off... more preparation time can iron out many wrinkles. But in TS anything can happen. Even if we lose that game, I still think we win the 2nd meeting in Atlanta.

Tebow's 30-game streak comes to an end at the hands of the Vols... first time in 30 games he has failed to throw a TD pass.

    Very impressive game by Tennessee.

He is only a Junior too. Dude is unbelievable. Wish we could have gotten him to sit out a year and come to LSU in a package deal with Chavis.

.... a reminder from another thread talking about LSU and a zone defense...

It was very noticable that Tennessee played zone with variations most of the game. Florida's whole scheme is to force one on one match ups... the Vols slowed them down and made them work.

Tennessee lost, but the model for playing the Gators won't be lost on the other SEC coaches.

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Another thing that they did was contain up front. The DLine was not over-aggressive in their pursuit of the QB or RB. They simply let the play come to them. Florida's offense relies on the over-pursuit of the defense, both upfront and in the secondary. The D-Linemen stayed in their lanes and plugged up the holes that would have otherwise been created by the pocket. I think this might be an NFL thing that Monte carried over because I've noticed a lot of D-Lines playing the exact same way today.

I certainly hope that Chavis took notes because we've been getting eaten alive by over-pursuing against far lesser teams than UF.
