  3. APA and MLA rules probably always were that but names starting with lower case like I used are sorta newer"ish". CamelCase is another new rule that has been adopted.

  10. Well to be fair iPhone is a name so the standard is to follow the spelling. For instance ee cummings name was always written/printed in lower case. Otherwise the first letter of a sentence is capitalized.
