Many are thinking it..........I'll say it.......maybe they saw the youtube from LSU's game with Bama?? :hihi:
Long time Aggie observer here. I've been in the Dallas area for almost 20 years now. They rationalize protection of Kyle field because it's a "war memorial". You can't walk on some patches of grass because they are "war memorials". You have to take your hat off in the Union because it's a "war memorial". I went to a game with an Aggie friend of mine and made a pit stop in the Union. I looked over at him and stated "I think I'm urinating on a "war memorial". Didn't go over too well as I recall. If you really want to see the face of an aggie twist, make a comment about their "cheerleaders". Even the Non die hards get upset when questioned about their boys in white jump suits and crew cuts that love to bend over and put their left hands in the air while wiggling their wrists. Other Aggie musings: *Coeds are not is same league with other major universities. Not close. *They are LESS fair weather than other major college programs. Including LSU. *They have really fallen behind Texas with no end in sight. I never understood how they were able to recruit inner city kids successfully (other than the Jackie Sherill technique). College station just doesn't offer much for that demographic. *Their groundskeepers have to clean up all of the dog crap nightly. Otherwise they would wake up every morning to 15 new "traditions". *It is a fine school. Kids must graduate in the top ten percent of their senior class to be accepted. If your kid can get into UT or A and M ...you've done something very right. Their military program has served our country proudly. Not the type of military guys that stand around intellectuallizing and scratching their arses...They go where called. That is all.
Interesting. I'm a bit too young to remember much of the A&M rivalry--especially during the 1980s. I remember a bit from the 90s when it was waning off. Seemed like good times though.
