Texas A&M launching investigation into Franchione e-mails

This just hit the news wire on the Houston Chronicle. I would have to guess Coach Fran may be history at A&M. Rumor has it A&M is going after Tommy Tubberville. Do you think this is a topic on the Bama board?

Maybe this went to Fran's recruiting fund.

A few years ago a guy was being recruited by A&M & was quoted as saying, "They take care of you over there. My brother plays there so I know. They keep your pockets full."

 

I know tamu is loaded, but CTT has a $6,000,000 buyout this year and I think will be making $2,600,000 after this year. I am sure Sexton will leverage whatever he can to make sure a new commission check is coming his way.

 

wasn't that the Bennett kid who we were also recruiting? I seem to remember something about him and RP texting each other on Signing Day...I believe he was tryin to get RP to switch to aTm instead of us. I think he's their starter at TE now.

 

It was that same year, but I can't recall if it was Bennett or not.

He's been a demon for them at TE & WR. I wish we would've landed him, but don't blame him for not wanting to be in Jimbo's offense.
