Basically it's an article written by a Texas paper telling TAMU to STFU about wanting to be in the SEC, after getting their arses handed to them by LSU. Basically tells them they are stupid to want a weekly drubbing handed to them with an SEC schedule.

Many of you may be too young to remember but the SEC targeted Texas A&M and Florida State back when we expanded from 10 to 12 teams. Texas A&M was afraid to leave the Southwest Conference and Bobby Bowden snubbed his nose at the SEC--he didn't want the competition. In the end we took Arkansas and South Carolina and it has taken them about 15 years to catch up to the rest of us. So Texas A&M basically said no thank you already. I doubt they'd do the same today but they had their chances.
As the Big12 continues to collapse and Texas creates its own television network, Texas will become an independent like Notre Dame. When this happens, expect aTm to want to make a move. SEC leadership (other than LSU and Arkansas) will welcome them with champagne and hookers because they want to rope in the Texas tv market.
