As long as you've been here, as many conversations as we've had, combined with knowing what time of the day I check in here, and you've not figured out I work my own schedule; at night? Okay then...try being a bit more observant.

I know the answer to the UGA and Texas comparison. There is no team that mirrors them moreso than the Dawgs. A lot of arrogance, claming this "blue blood" pedigree, with a scantly decorated trophy case.

 

While I can't sum up my feelings in one sentence Sankey said something last week that comes quite close: "...tired of northeastern schools making decisions about what we can't do. (sic)"

 

I like the way 2020's schedule ran...played all but two SEC teams.

 

This I find to be a great point. I'm also leaning towards the notion it won't be long before we see "meaningless playoff games" as a catch-phrase. I'm seriously considering the point we see players opt out of a playoff games.

If I'm a director of a bowl game I'm using NIL to my advantage and paying players to show up. And damn, I just said that. Shakin' my fuckin' head.

 

I think the SEC will be making decisions based on $, not necessarily what’s best for cfb. Just like what’s happening now. If the sport continues to degrade, at some point I may retire my fandom.

I hope whoever is leading cares about more than just money.

 

4 titles is “scantily decorated”? Is that a veiled shot at LSU? Perhaps we should re-write history and claim a few more? I know where to look for advice there. I think the OVER blown sense of self worth is the comparison that fits.
